Holy Writ

Holy Writ is a term used primarily by conservative and fundamentalist Christians to describe the Bible. As a deliberate archaicism, it is often used by older persons who heard it used in their youth, and by groups within the King-James-Only Movement.

The term has also been used by Muslims to describe the Qur'an.
