Franz Friedrich, Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld (15 July 1750 - 9 December 1806), was the son of Ernst Friedrich, Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld (1724-1800) and his wife Sophia Antonia of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel (1724-1802)
He married, on 6 March 1776, at Hildburghausen, Sophie von Saxe-Hildburghausen. She was born on 22 February 1760 and died on 28 October 1776, months after her wedding: there were no children born of this marriage.
He married, on 13 June 1777, at Ebersdorf , Countess Auguste Reuss zu Ebersdorf und Lobenstein.
